Potli Pinda Swedana
Potli Pinda Swedana is a traditional therapeutic procedure used in Ayurveda. It is a type of Swedana (sudation or fomentation therapy) where warm herbal poultices, called “potli”, are gently pressed and massaged over the body to relieve pain, stiffness, and muscular disorders.
It cures stiffness and muscular skeletal disorders.
Udwartana
Udwartana (उद्वर्तन) is a specialized Ayurvedic therapy involving a dry or paste-based herbal massage. It focuses on exfoliating the skin, stimulating blood circulation, and reducing Kapha dosha.

Shirodhara
Shirodhara (शिरोधारा) is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic Ayurvedic treatment in which a continuous stream of warm medicated oil, herbal decoction, milk, or buttermilk is poured gently over the forehead (specifically the Ajna chakra or third-eye region). It is one of the most effective therapies for calming the mind, reducing stress, anxiety, ADHD and addressing conditions related to the nervous system and mental health.
Shiro Abhyanga
Shiro Abhyanga (शिरो अभ्यंग) is an Ayurvedic head massage that involves applying medicated oils to the scalp, head, neck, and shoulders. It is a therapeutic procedure known for its ability to promote relaxation, improve hair health, and balance the mind-body connection.
It manages stress, anxiety, insomnia and Vata-related disorders.

Local basti
In Ayurveda Basti therapy (Local) ,a dough ring structure is placed on the neck area/ back area/ heart area/ knee area/ nabhi area and warm medicated oil (e.g., Sahacharadi tailam, Balaaswagandha taila, Ksheerabala Taila, Mahanarayana Taila etc.) is poured and retained for 20–30 minutes.a localized reservoir using dough and medicated oils to treat specific areas of the body. It is a highly effective procedure for targeting pain, stiffness, and imbalances in localized regions.
Janu basti
Janu Basti is a traditional therapy from Ayurveda used to treat knee pain and joint disorders. The word “Janu” means knee, and “Basti” means retaining warm medicated oil in a specific area.

Karna Purana
